Biography
Delvon Johnson was born and raised in Newark, NJ. As an only child, he found ways to keep busy and innovative. In school, his favorite subject was always English. He always enjoyed writing. At a very young age, he started to write his own poetry and even songs. As a teenager, he was accepted to Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, better known as Arts high. His dream was to become a recording artist. After years of training and performances, Delvon gave up on his dream of becoming a recording artist, and settled into corporate America.
He knew that corporate America wasn't enough. He wanted more. After years of reading books by his favorite authors, who include E. Lynn Harris, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Terry McMillan, he set out on a journey to complete his first novel. In July, 2008, he had finally achieved it.

It's entitled, Love Yourself First.Love Yourself First is a romantic novel about life and the decisions people make in their journeys through it. It will make you laugh, cry, and understand certain aspects of life while keeping you totally entertained at the same time.

Love Yourself First by Delvon Johnson is a comedic look into the fashion industry and the divas who fight to make it to the top. We are introduced to some pretty interesting characters, ranging from the down- low brothers to the eccentric divas. Meet the queens of fashion, Dwight and Issiah, best friends, who set out to start their own design business. With just the right touch, and all the right contacts their business takes off, and quickly. Looking forward to adding some additional flair to their showroom, they meet and fall in love with Joan Murphy, a shoe connoisseur. Joan is in a steady relationship but her other half has ulterior motives that will cause Joan's world to spin out-of- control. With a steady flow and upbeat tempo, Love Yourself First was a fast read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was well entertained as I waited for the walls to come crumbling down on the fiasco that Joan was trying to drum up, as well as the gorgeous men who seemed to continuously jump out of the closet and claim they were not on the down-low but just experimenting. Love Yourself First was very interesting and kept me wanting more. With descriptive scenes from some of New York's hottest hang-out spots; I felt like I was one of the paparazzi waiting to take that winning shot. I enjoyed the story but found that there were some editing issues, that if corrected could make the story flow much smoother. I recommend this book to readers of all genres, and look forward to reading what Mr. Johnson has next.

Tip #1: Play Safe
There are some serious safety issues regarding anal sex that you need to be aware of at all times. First and foremost, whatever touches the anus shouldn't be touching anything else. Never never never take the penis out of the anus and put it into the vagina. That can lead to serious infections and other complications. After any kind of anal play, you should immediately change condoms and wash the relevant body parts thoroughly.
Of course, STDs are also a major concern with anal sex. This isn't just limited to AIDS; herpes, genital warts, syphilis, gonorrhea, etc. can all be transmitted through anal sex. You shouldn't be having anal sex without a condom; it's not worth the risk to either partner.

Tip #2: Lube, lube, lube
One of the most important thing to remember when thinking about anal sex is that, unlike the vagina, the anus isn't self-lubricating: you gotta bring your own grease. And, the more lube you use, the better. It will make the initial penetration much more easy and less painful for the woman and make the whole experience, for both of you, much more pleasant. The most common suggestion we get from our readers is to use LOTS of lube; we just can't emphasize this point enough.
All kinds of lube are used for anal sex, from spit to Vaseline to high-tech silicone-based lubes. We'd strongly recommend spending a little money to get a high quality water-based lubricant; remember, an oil-based lubricant like Vaseline will degrade the latex in a condom, destroying its usefulness. We'd recommend products like *AstroGlide or KY Jelly, available in any drug store. Note, though a condom may be "lubricated", they typically don't offer as much lube as we'd recommend for anal sex.
Sex Toys
There are some specialty lubes designed for anal sex that include an anesthetic to numb the woman's sensation and make anal sex less painful. We'd advise against these products. The simple fact is, pain is a way of your body telling you that something's wrong. If you're in pain during anal sex, you need to focus on solving the root problems, not anesthetizing yourself so it's easier to endure.

Tip #3: Start Small
Simply put, a penis is an awful big to be the first thing you stick up someone's butt . Better to start with something smaller and work your way up. Fingers are an excellent beginning point. Use one finger, then two, to initiate your partner into the mysteries of anal penetration. Try it while performing oral sex for an extra thrill. Be sure your fingernails are trimmed, not to forget the lube, and you might even want to wear latex gloves.
As your partner gets used to your fingers, you might graduate to a butt plug or a small dildo. Dildos are available in all shapes and sizes. Go shopping together to get one she thinks she can handle. Remember, though, don't put the dildo into the vagina after putting it into the anus. The safest way is to put a condom on the dildo before using it, and to wash it thoroughly immediately after.

Tip #4: Turnabout is Fair Play
Whether you're trying to convince someone to have anal sex or trying to figure out how to do it in a gentle, pain free manner, there's no better preparation that exploring anal play with yourself.
A partner is much more likely to consent to anal sex if she's seen that you're open to being on the receiving end as well. Encourage her to use her fingers inside of you, or even purchase a butt plug or small dildo and let her use that. Once she's seen you're willing to do it, it'll be hard for her to resist exploring it as well.
Of course, anal play on yourself is a great way to learn how anal sex feels and to learn how to make it more comfortable for your partner. You might also be surprised just how much you like it...

Tip #5: Clear the Way
Before having anal sex, the woman should have a good, complete bowel movement. If she doesn't, the man may find himself encountering far more fecal matter than he might have liked (i.e. packing the fudge). Now, for some people doing this on-command might not be the easiest thing, and straining to defecate is not healthy. A high fiber diet may help things along and is good for your health in any case.
Of course, if you really want to clean things out in a hurry, you can purchase an enema from any drug store. There's some controversy about this; some people feel having an enema first can actually increase the irritation during anal sex. If you're going to go the enema route, we'd recommend doing it several hours before you plan to have anal sex, rather than right before the act.

Showtime has decided to pass on two anticipated series: End of Steve, starring Matthew Perry as a local afternoon talk show host, and The Farm, Ilene Chaiken's L Word spin-off that would follow Alice (Leisha Hailey) into a state prison. I'm miffed about End of Steve because to me, "dark comedy" + "Matthew Perry" = "delight." But I'm not too hung up on the no-go for The Farm -- Alice's relationship with Tasha sort of beat the "Alice in prison" idea to death already. (It eventually got better! But still.) And I'd rather wait for a brilliant new series about lesbians than another one from the same showrunners responsible for making The L Word so laughably bad a lot of the time. This person was also young - very young - with abundant talent, energy and drive. He is, or was, in apparent good health. In fact, the only outstanding mystery in the life of Todd Homme, 23, may be this: What ended it? Homme, a contestant in Lifetime's "Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist," which wrapped last night (written on dec. 18), died in his sleep at his Manhattan apartment Saturday.

His mother, Marianne Amster of Huntington Station said last night, "They don't know what happened to him" while an autopsy was indeterminate. "He was at the height of life," she added. "It's very hard. Very, very hard. Born in Tucson, raised in California, Homme moved with his family to Huntington nearly three years ago. He was one of three finalists in "Blush," a "Project Runway"-like talent quest, in which the winner picks up a $100,000 check and a contract with Max Factor.The finale was taped a month ago in Los Angeles, and Homme knew he did not win (Nolan Makaawaawa, of Costa Mesa, Calif., did.)Homme's partner, Neal Krogh, 34, said both were making plans to move from New York to Los Angeles in a month."He was happy and exuberant and his usual full-of-life self and excited about the move," said Krogh, a lighting designer for TV and Broadway shows."His real passion in life was to help people," said his mother. She said he had told her that if he had won, "he said he'd give some [money] to 'my momma' and work with underprivileged kids. He loved life and he loved people. He did not have a flaw."

This news is coming from me very late, but I thought since I just found out that the rest of the world must be in the dark as well. I just watched the finally online and the lifetime just flashed his picture and name for less then thirty seconds and that saddens me ....wow, I watched the show but had so many things going on in my life that I just dvr the episodes to watch at a later date and that's why I had no clue to what happened. there are still no answers surrounding his death and no drugs or alcohol was found in his body. He will be sadly missed by fans and as well as myself....R.I.P Todd!!!!!!

Wendy Williams has Proved her brand can be as successful on TV as it is on radio, Wendy Williams' daily TV Talk program, The Wendy Williams Show is headed for broader TV distribution. Following a successful multi-week preview on Fox Television owned-and-operated stations in four markets, Fox announced plans Monday (Aug. 18) to clear the Debmar-Mercury program in mid-2009 on stations in all 18 of its markets.
The Fox-owned stations in New York (WNYW), Los Angeles (KTTV), Dallas (KDFW) and Detroit (WJBK) began airing the one-hour The Wendy Williams Show on July 14. The six-week run will conclude Aug. 22.
According to Fox, the program posted rating increases in key demos during the May sweeps in both New York and Los Angeles.

The blame for this is not on you and has nothing to do with you, it just simply is a preference so don't go thinking its your fault for something you may or may not have done, just trust yourself and your intuition and know when to let go.
